Virgin Money London Marathon 2018
To win a place in the London Marathon via the charity ballot was a fantastic break for our little charity but then, it got even better when our top volunteer, James Simcox (below), revealed that running in the London Marathon was on his bucket list! Click here to sponsor James
James, who has lived in London all his life, currently lives in Teddington with his wife Berny (our CEO), two teenage daughters and dogs. He's a fantastic guy who wants to make sure that the green spaces and heritage that he grew up with and is so proud of, are not lost to urban-creep, and that local delights such as the colourful woodpeckers in Bushy Park are still around for his children's children to enjoy.
Please help James raise funds so that the Environment Trust can carry on its important conservation work for many years to come.
£10 could help remove harmful invasive species and plant more native species
£20 could help create habitat for endangered species such as Water Voles return to local rivers
£50 could help our work saving heritage structures at risk, like the Potomac Tower in Gunnersbury Park
£100 would help towards buying a minibus for transporting our wonderful volunteers
As with all small charities we rely heavily on the generosity of our supporters, so please sponsor James and support our work.
Your contribution will make a BIG difference to a small charity Please, sponsor James
Our heartfelt thanks to James and all who support him.
